Random Monday

• It was my handsome hubby's 25th Birthday on Friday! I'm robbing the cradle a little bit since I'm 26. The pic above is him on his Harley that he is FINALLY selling!
• I skipped work Friday b/c I assumed everyone would be off for Good Friday. Oops, I was wrong but nobody seemed to care that I wasn't at the office.
• Our friend Cody brought our Godson Parker over to play Friday morning & he was so much fun & cheesing for the camera!

• Derek had a great time playing with him. He's really warmed up so much to babies!

• I finally got my shaggy hair cut!! Although any pics from the weekend look terrible b/c it was so humid & nasty! At least I will feel better w/a fresh hair cut in the hospital instead of looking like a hairy monster!
• Friday night, for D's b-day, we went w/a few friends to Buzzard Billy's Cajun restaurant on the river. It was so much fun! Those guys really know how to get dirty w/the crawfish. Ick!! Check out the TEN POUNDS in the pic below! I'm not a fan, so I stuck w/salad & cheesesticks.

• Saturday, I had a little emotional breakdown. I attempted to clean the house & it took me like 6 hours!! That lovely man I call my hubby decided to mow the yard and take a two hour nap, all while I was breaking my back just to sweep. Being this big is H.A.R.D. & as you can imagine, I was not a happy camper. Didn't talk to him for 12 hours! lol. I'm over it though :)
• I had a little scare & started to see stars. That's one of the things you're supposed to go to the hospital for, but I know it was from my exhaustion and blood pressure being up. I'm all good now. I didn't call my dr. b/c I'm stubborn that way.
• Easter Sunday we went to my parents' house for a delicious Turkey/Ham Easter lunch. My big sis Sara & my nephews were in town. Since I wasn't feeling great (AT ALL) I did not take any pics w/my camera. But when I get a hold of the pics my sis took of my dyed deviled eggs, I'll have to post it. Yep, I dyed my deviled eggs & this may be a new things I do for every holiday!
• Derek ended up actually enjoying spending time w/my family & we stayed till about 4. He's usually very shy b/c my family is pretty female dominant & the ladies get together & kind of ignore the few guys. lol.
• Last night, The Richardson's came over to watch the Final 4 Women's Basketball tourney w/us. Our hometown's Baylor Bears were playing (and lost).
• Some random girl this weekend told me I looked like I was about to explode. Thanks random Biya!
• I've developed Carpal Tunnel in my right hand. It was inevitable w/my job & lack of good circulation, but I found out that due to swelling during pregnancy, it's extremely common in pregnant women.
• I have a gut feeling that I will not make it to my induction. I'm having lots of symptoms of my body preparing. I'll spare the deets for ya!
• I hope I make it to at least this weekend. Derek went out of town this morning & I'm not sure when he'll make it back this week. AND, if I can just make it through this week at work, I'll feel ok leaving the office for a while. I'm the office manager here & would hate for things not to be prepared for my departure.
• I am still getting baby gifts! Nothing better than pulling up to my house w/a big box on my front porch!
• My sinus infection that I've had -like forever- switched sides of my face over the weekend. Can you believe that after one night of a cold mist humidifier, I feel 99% better? I can't believe that's all I needed.
• My new wake up time for the day is around 2:30 am now.
• There are a ton of workout commercials, retirement commercials & facial cleaning commercials on TV at that time of night.
• I'm going to be such an overprotective mom. My cat always comes in for the night & last night, he didn't come home till 4:30am. And ONLY b/c I was able to catch him. That little turd is grounded! I was so worried about him all night. lol.
• I think I'm the only person who isn't a fan of Spring weather. It's never pretty here in the spring. Always humid and rainy. But I guess it beats Texas' summers!
• Our friend Cody (different from the one I mention a lot) proposed to his gf this weekend! We're all so excited b/c he's the last of the group of guys to get married!
