37 weeks & counting

I usually do these updates early in the morning, but I had another appointment today & wanted to incorporate it in my blog. We set a date! It's in a couple of weeks-give or take. I won't say the exact day b/c I want it to be a surprise to all of you. I will be induced early in the morning at 5am & may or may not wait all day for his arrival. Everybody is different so we will see. I've dilated to a 1. Not that that matters b/c you can be a 1 for a couple weeks according to my dr. But hey, at least it's something! I hate my exams b/c they are just so painful to me for some reason. I almost passed out today. It was so embarrassing. At least my dr. will know I'm not playing when I say it hurts in the hospital!!

I'm super ready and Derek is so excited. He's coming home tomorrow & we aren't sure yet if he will be going out of town until d-day. I don't mind since we are scheduled, however, he may not want to. Which is fine by me.
I was able to get a pedicure one last time today so my toes will be nice and pretty -only to be covered up by house shoes.
I've been trying to get a haircut for a while now but my girl is Mrs. Popular & very hard to get in with. I really hope I can though b/c otherwise, all my pics will look like a hairy monster!

How far along: 37 weeks
Labor signs: Just lots of Braxton Hicks
Maternity clothes: yes
Sleep: hardly!
Best moment of the week: I can't remember the last week if my life depended on it! I just know it was rough.
Movement: Yes but restricted since he's all out of room!
Food Cravings: cucumbers. I loved these before w/italian dressing, but the last couple of days that's all I want!
Food adversions: None, however, I get heartburn w/everything so I drink lots of milk to help.
Gender: It's a boy! Gavin Lee!
Morning Sickness: Nope
Belly button: a little "outty"
What I miss: My body, sleep, comfort. I'm just huge and uncomfortable!
What I look forward to: Having off on Friday(hubby's b-day) Easter weekend, seeing my family & of course having this baby!
Milestones: I'm in the safe zone now. If he is born he will most likely not need any sort of support.

How exciting! That's neat that they were able to set a date for you. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll go early like last time!

Know what you mean about the down there exams being painful. I felt the same way, especially when I was barely dilated. They still feel yucky when you're more dilate but not as bad as when you're barely dilated, if that makes sense! :)

I'll be praying for you!!!

That's very good news everything looks good, you're in a good safe zone, & the dates set so you know exactly how long you have to prepare! Sounds prefect!
