That is me counting to 10 over & over in order to stop myself from going completely insane this morning!
It's not working.
I think is a bit comical how much my patience is being tried right now. I guess it's God's way of preparing me for a child. It's the only sense I can make out of why I have the worst Monday's out of anyone I know. Every Monday!
This Monday was no exception. I had my dogs in last night b/c it was cold & My pit, Spanky, came in the room shaking his collar at 5am. It's his way of saying he's ready to get up. Umm....NO! Too early. Not to mention I went to sleep way late. Anyways, so I start smelling the dreaded "smell." Turned on the lamp and my other dog Dee Dee was circling my floor around PILES of shadooky! O. M. G!!!!
I get up to let her out & I have to follow her trail of disaster all the way to the back door. Even stepping into it once.
My poor baby was sick & I was too tired to get angry at her for not waking me up to let her out. (She knows better.) But I spent the next TWO hours scrubbing my carpets & PineSol-ing my kitchen. It wasn't a few piles...it was EVERYWHERE!!!!
I even caught my cat Samson playing in it at one point.
This would happen when Derek is out of town. It always does.
Moral of the story...I'm very tired, & started out having a bad morning. And I haven't exploded yet. My patience is being tried & I'm attempting to see how long it will last today.
Oh, did I mention when I went to get into my car for work, my tire was flat? Yep! My luck! **deep breaths**
I'm sure I will have so many of these wonderful mornings of "pure joy" & I really can't wait. I just hope I don't end up one of those nuts at a crazy home!

On another note, I managed to paint my toenails on my own this weekend. It was a task for sure w/a big belly in the way. But they sure are pretty now!
AND, I got to spend some time w/my Godson Parker & his mommy yesterday. He's getting SOOO big! I would have taken pics, but we were at the mall, and he was sound asleep the entire time.

Oh bless your heart! That's not a fun morning! Get used to poop messes tho! lol I've had my share of them from Rylie. Totally worth it tho!
