No Makeup Monday

Did anyone else not want to start their day today? I mean, I've had worse Monday's, but I just got so used to the holiday breaks. It's OK, I have so much to look forward to this new year, so Happy New Year everyone! I hope your weekend was great!

Well, it's official, my laptop is no more and we have to get it completely fixed. Two-day-old laptop being soaked=not good! My MIL has someone who might be able to fix it for free, so fingers crossed!

Derek and I spent a ton of quality time together getting things done over the break. I actually can't even remember everything we did but I know the majority was productive. I finally tried out going to the chiropractor for my back and going once did NOT help! Plus it wasn't comfortable at all. Would have much rather spent my $$ on a massage. In order for him to readjust my back completely, I'll have to go in at least two more times this week! No thanks! He said my back was very out of line so I'd have to keep going back to fix it. I guess I'll just have to deal.

For NYE, we decided to go the "old couple route" and not do anything crazy. Which was totally fine for us b/c we're over that. We met up w/our friends, Cody, Kelli, Amber & Derek @ a restaurant w/terrible service, so we decided to leave and go eat Mexican food. After, we went to Hondo's pool bar. The smoke free one we like :) We started the night pretty early so we all went home before midnight. LOL. D & I were able to watch the ball drop on TV though.

Saturday we were supposed to go to D's family Christmas party, but he didn't feel like driving 3 hours out of the way since we hardly know the people. Plus he didn't feel good that morning. But I took it as an opportunity to do a little bit of shopping. Derek & i went shopping Friday but I didn't get anything I needed, so I went again Sat. I really needed a few more maternity clothes!

After, we took my nephews bowling since they were in town one more day. Not great pics though b/c it was dark. They had so much fun, plus it's always nice for them to get out of Grandma & Grandpa's house for a little bit. After taking them home, we went to Toys R Us to finish up my registry there. I needed to register for the big things like a stroller & car seat & really needed his input. It was so cute to see him testing out everything and putting in his daddy input. Who is this guy? Then, we went & had a nice dinner & rented a few movies, got some ice cream & went home.

Yesterday, I got whatever crud Derek got, so was sickly all day. This cold weather isn't my favorite. But it gave me time to nap all I could before coming back to work.

We were both trying to figure out what we were doing at this time last year and the only thing we could think about was how were were going through kind of a hard time. I was infertile and we were steadily trying to get pregnant, doing everything we could.I was definitely taking it's toll on us as I'm sure some of you understand. Never would we have thought we'd ring in the new year w/a little one growing in my belly! Yay for 2010!!!! I can't wait for April!
