I'm sure a lot of you don't know what all happens to your body during pregnancy other than the stretching of the skin, morning sickness, mood swings, the backaches and gas. lol. I know that I apparently had NO idea what all being pregnant would do to me & my body! But, as each week passes, I'm learning that I am very textbook w/my odd symptoms. Here are just a few of the things I didn't expect to happen that are actually very common:
Hip pain (along w/the major back pain)
Leg cramps. I woke up on Christmas morning w/my first "charlie horse" and it lasted for 3 days. Aweful!!!
Dizzy spells. In case you forgot, I passed out at a funeral : /
Itchy skin on tummy and chest. I know, I know...my skin is stretching. No stretch marks yet though.
Dry nose, & nose bleeds! Now this has a little to do with the weather, but apparently your hormones relax your membranes and it cases nose bleeds & the dry thing, I don't remember why. But, of course, as if my pregnancy is right out of the the text book, my nose bleeds started.
And the oddest of all to me is little hair on my tummy. Odd right? Well, it's like I have peach fuzz growing on my belly. Luckily I have light hair
& only I can see it, but WEIRD!!!
I am positive that I will have many more things occur that I'm gonna just have to read about when the time comes and laugh about when it happens. None of these will make me take back how happy I am about being pregnant!

You've seriously got the perfect belly bump girl!! Did you ever read Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy? It's the best book about being pregnant! She had all kinds of weird things when she was pregnant! I think her gums would bleed? You'd like that book tho!
