Well, my Dr. never called me after my glucose test last week, so that only means one thing! I'm diabetes-free!! So glad about that!
This past Saturday, I spent the day running around town with my friend Jenn & my goal was to find a better nursery furniture set I liked b/c the one at Target was too hard to match. Plus, it didn't come with another dresser in the set which I really wanted. So we get to Target & to my disbelief, almost all the big stuff I registered for (& I'm sure the small stuff too) was on clearance or just plain off the shelves & not being sold anymore. UGH!! I was so frustrated! I really liked my cradle & bouncer I had picked out & now they are gone. And I hardly registered for anything at Toys R Us other than the stroller combo & random decor.
So, I finally broke down & went to Burlington to check things out & they ended up having so much stuff I liked. I was anti-BCF b/c their registry was always difficult to figure out as a buyer. But, it seemed much more in order this time.
I registered for everything I needed plus more & walked away feeling great about it. I found a stroller combo, new furniture set that is easier to match & even a whole combo of things with the pattern I'm using in his room. Score!!
Of course, I had to take my stroller off Toys R Us, but that was the only thing I really wanted from there. So, now I'm officially Re-registered!
I also started a couple projects this weekend out of pure boredom.I'm so antsy to get his room started! I have been looking online for some modern giraffe prints that I could print out & glue to fabric & frame. Then I realized, "Hey, I can draw!" Duh! So my little artistic adventures started & I couldn't put my pencil down. I drew so many cute giraffe pictures that would look ideal for a baby room & can't wait to get the fabric or paper to put it on so I can hang it up. Of course, I'll take pictures when it's all done to show you! I can't really mention the other projects b/c they are for a couple of my reader friends. But I've been staying busy & getting more & more excited as the days go by.

I had the same problems with Target registry! We also registered at BCF in Waco bc that's all their was! I liked shopping there for baby stuff. BUT LEMME WARN YA-my friend ordered their nursery furniture from BCF & had AWFUL problems with them! They didnt get the furniture until after the baby was born & the people were NO help. I will tell ya-JC Penney has a lot of the same furniture online now. I've never heard problems with them. Just a little info thought you'd like to know!
