I've had it to HERE with all this rain in Texas! I used to drive a Z71 w/4-wheel drive and it was easy to get anywhere in the rain. Now I drive a Pilot SUV, which is still better than a car, but it's no truck! Not to mention I drive on a 5 mile gravel road to get to work every day. It's officially flooded and I pray I'm able to escape work today! I don't even think it will stop long enough for it to dry up before it starts back again. There's no promises with Texas weather.
We did manage to make it out to the fair/rodeo this Saturday. We stayed inside most of the time, but of course, it was drizzling outside. Enough to frizz up my hair! Oh while we were there, I saw a few people who congratulated me on my pregnancy and said I was starting to show a tad. I wonder if it had anything to do with the french fries, fried pickles and soda I had...after dinner! HA Ha! I LOVE fair food so much! I want to go back just to get a roasted corn. Yum!
I just want this weather to clear up long enough for me to enjoy my favorite season of the year! Don't my fellow Texans agree?
