On Sunday, the 12th, our friends Kelli & Cody invited us to go to the Cowboys game with them and we were more than happy to go!
I've been to the stadium a few times before, so sorry for the lack of pictures. I was too busy having fun yelling for my boys!!
We drove up early in the afternoon even though it was a late game, so that we could have dinner and drinks at a fun sports bar, then went shopping at Cabella's. Our guys love it there!
I got Gavin the cutest little camo outfits. I can't wait to dress him in them to look like his daddy.
Although our boys lost in the end (27-30), we had a total blast! Kelli & I nearly had no voice by the end of the freezing cold night.
Unfortunately, the whole way back, I was car sick and a complete party pooper & got sick (BAD) as soon as we got back. Turned out, I had a stomach virus and it hit me at the end of the 4th quarter of the game. Nice timing huh? I thought it was just the beer and greasy food I ate.So, up until this morning (Wednesday) I have been competely down, in bed or on the bathroom floor sick as a DOG! Derek did manage to take me to the Dr b/c we thought it was the flu, but NOPE. Stomach Virus. Those things are the devil!
Anyways, I'm finally ok now. And thanks to my awesome hubby, Gavin was very well taken care of! I think he has a new appreciation for what I do as a mom while he's gone. ;) He really did come to the rescue and I'm so thankful he's such an amazing daddy!!
