Relaxing weekend

Almost every weekend, Gavin and I have started making early morning trips to the grocery store. He gets up early and there is no better time to take him except then. An added bonus is that there is never anyone else there, so it's super easy and quick.

The clerks like to give him a balloon sometimes, but this weekend was the first time he really enjoyed it.

I couldn't get him to let it go. It was soooo cute to watch. He kept bopping himself in the head w/it and laughing.

Since my little busy bee is crawling all over the place these days, nothing is off limits to him. IDK why, but he is really drawn to his bouncer. My brave boy gets in it facing the back standing up and bounces himself, as if he's trying to flip it over. He is quickly learning the word "No!" lol.

In the pic below, he was making his way into the bouncer when he notices the bin of toys next to him. So he thought he could play with both at the same time.

Then he noticed his binkie and moved on to something else to play with.

And my bestie Jenn brought her baby girl Kyndal over since she was close to us and we enjoyed spending the rest of the afternoon with them. This was the first time Gavin got to meet her and didn't know what to think. I'm pretty sure she is terrified in this picture.

I'd say they will be girlfriend/boyfriend, but I think they will be too close. More like brother/sister relationship :)
