I know I'm late on this post, but I've been so busy! My little man is 4 months old already & I can't believe it. Just a couple of posts ago, I was doing his 3 month post! He's changed a lot with his personality in the last month though!
He started sucking his thumb on occasion. Not my fave, but he loves his hands and anything he can fit in his mouth!
This chunker has gained a lot of weight! lol. We went to the Dr. yesterday & he was 16.1 lbs & 26 1/2 in long. 95th percentile! I can no longer carry him in his car seat like I used to. I think I'll be getting an umbrella stroller soon b/c his stroller is just so bulky to run in to the store for a quick errand!
Gavin is hilarious and he knows it! He cracks himself up all the time!
He loves his bumbo! We're ready to try out solid food now with the dr's go ahead! He's on cereal but we will be trying fruits this week! Can't wait! I haven't got his high chair in the mail yet, so his bumbo will have to work temporarily..jpg)

His new favorite thing is the mirror. This little flirt will just sit there and talk and talk..jpg)
He also is trying so hard to crawl and sometimes gets stuck in the process. lol.
I have my hands full for sure with this guy. At work, I can't keep him in one place & he isn't even crawling all the way yet!.jpg)
He's gotten really into Baby Einstein! I can't even talk to him if he's watching it b/c he ignores me.
These last few weeks have been up and down for me and def. difficult b/c I've been acting as a single parent. We started sleep training again. He hit a growth spurt & he's in his own room, so he stopped sleeping thru the night. We wake up about 3 times a night. But his dr. told me to stop rocking him and to put him down before he's already alseep b/c he needs to learn to sooth himself. It's tough but it worked twice now. I'm hoping this is a new beginning of sleep filled nights for mommy! But to wake up to his smile every morning reminds me that it is all so very worth it!
He's really coming into his own at his young age & I know that he will be full of personality. I can't wait to see how he'll be acting at 6 months!
Thanks to everyone who commented and emailed me lately. It's so reassuring to know I'm not alone in the journey of mommyhood and that what I'm going through is all normal! I have such great blogger friends :)

Awww, where does the time go? Before you know it he’ll be driving. Ha! He is too precious for words!!!!
Isn't it the most fun to see their sweet personalities emerging? Avery Claire loves Baby Einstein, too! Why couldn't we come up with something like that to make millions and quit work to stay home with our babes?!
Well, I had to laugh because Alivia has now passed up Gavin the weight dept!
It really is so much fun to see their personalities emerging now, huh?
I'll be praying for you guys and hope things get better in the sleep dept. We're not yet at the crying it out stage. I'm bad and I let her nurse to sleep. With three kiddos I need some peace but will def start training her in the next few months here.
Good luck with feeding solids. It's always fun to see the looks on their faces when they try out new foods!
I'm glad to hear there's light at the end of the tunnel with his sleep patterns! Hope it continues to improve for yall!
