Working 9 to 5....

Sleeping on the job....
His poor head fell right over w/this cheap bouncer I got for the office.
Oh and I put him in his tractor onsie so he could look like he was coming to work with the guys. They all thought it was cute.

I came back to work yesterday and so far so good. Gavin has been such an amazing baby for me here at the office. Of all days for him to be here at work, we were super duper busy and I was being pulled in all directions, but I survived. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm exhausted, but I think we've handled it very well. It makes the day go by faster. Although, I'm not going to lie, it's pretty inconvenient. But how many people do you know that can take their kids to work with them? I'm very lucky. Derek's grandparents live next door to the office, so if I need them to take him on busy days, they are happy to help. I just don't want them to have to babysit. They need some downtime. They've been watching Derek's sister forever, so I didn't think it was fair to put a baby on them.

I did learn that I not only have to pack gavin another outfit, but I have to pack myself one too. I just got peed on sooo bad! lol. I also learned that it's good that from day one, we made lots of noise around him so that nothing sudden would wake him up like a dog bark, or door shut. And it seems to have worked b/c he takes pretty good naps here. Especially with all the noise outside. I was scared he wouldn't nap and would be screaming.

The bad thing is that his allergies are terrible out here in the country, but I know time will help that. Well, it's 1:30 here, I should try to go eat lunch. That's the one thing that I don't always have time to do!

Oh wow what a crazy time! You're so lucky to get to bring him to work! My boss threatened to build a nursery at the tv station when I told him I wasn't comin back after Rylie was born. lol They didnt want me to leave & I did wish I could stay & bring her with me but it just wasnt doable. Hopefully yall will get into the swing of things up there & it'll be smoother days soon!
