Baby nightmares?

Sneaky Daddy took some pics of us passed out after a long weekend!

Hey everyone. I've been super busy off and on lately, so when I'm not you'll most likely catch me crashed on the couch or anywhere I've relaxed for the moment. Don't take my lack of commenting on your posts personally.
Mostly, due to the hubby's schedule all last week. His company was getting ready to go out of state causing him to come home at midnight or later every night. I couldn't sleep till he got home and everything that Gavin was used to, got mixed up.
After Gavin's doctor visit last week, his constipation got much better, so instead of switching him to soy for his const. i went ahead and took him off Similac RS and put him on Similac sensitive.
Bad. Idea.

It's like we were back to square one again. Projectile vomiting-check. Colic-check. No sleeping AT ALL-check!
I had to try the new formula for a few days hoping he needed to get used to it, but unfortunately he didn't. So, today the Dr. says put him back on RS. I'm not a fan of this b/c where I work and live, it's hard to find in a store so I have to drive out of my way to get it.

I have a question though to the mommy's out there...
Have ya'll ever heard of babies having nightmares? For the past couple of days, when Gavin is sorta sleeping, in his sleep he starts crying this awful whiny scared cry! Then he shuffles around and goes back to sleep. I don't know what is wrong with the poor little guy! I'm wondering if this is normal, or should I give him some gas medicine? I'd ask my dr, but I already call them enough. lol.

I hope everyone had a good Father's Day!
Unfortunately, Derek worked extremely late the night before, so my plans of waking up and going to breakfast before going to see my dad fell thru. I let him sleep in. even though i could have really used some sleep/help myself. He did get to go fishing Sat. morning, so sleep and fishing was enough for him. That's all he wanted:) I then went to see my dad and my sis and nephews were all in. Sorry, no pics. I'm still not used to taking pictures of every little thing for my blog. By the time I came home, we all three spent some quality time together and Derek had to leave for work at 6 to drive out of state. Boo :(

I know this post is random, but I wanted to share my Mommy Moment of last week!
It's nothing big, but it was funny. I had Gavin in his playpen/bassinet at work and I went to check on him napping and saw a huge spider crawling towards him. Naturally, I freaked out! I tried to quietly bat it away but it only ran faster towards him & ran under his belly!!! So I had to quickly pick him up in dead sleep. I didn't know what else to do. OMG-he freaked out! Then I had to smash the spider w/a plush toy b/c it was the only thing I could find. It made for a very long afternoon with a fussy/scared baby!

Avery Claire does the crying out thing occasionally, but I think she used to do it more often (prob when she was about G's age). Have you thought about trying Similac Alimentum? It's more expensive, but Avery Claire's been so much more relaxed and happy since we're on it!!! We thought she had horrible colic, but really her formula was the problem! The early shield nor the sensitive agreed with her tummy at all!!! Just a thought...

Poor guy!! Doesn't a spider know not to mess with a Momma's baby??? :)

oh girl i'd be the same way with the spider! i dont mess around with them!

i think we switched rylie on formulas several times too because of her reflux. sometimes it just takes awhile to find the right fit. she did have a few nightmares too tho. it was weird-she'd wake up crying & i'd go pick her up but it was like she was still asleep too. lol

hope he starts sleepin for ya again!

Yikes about the spider! I would have freaked out too!

So sorry you're still having trouble with formulas. That is so hard! I hope you'll b able to find something that works and soon!

About the baby nightmares...Livvie will sometimes wince in her sleep out of the blue and make a little crying sound, but not very often. I think it's totally normal and wouldn't worry about it too much!

Hope you're getting some sleep this week!
