This Mother's Day was absolutely perfect! It was my first & Gavin treated his Momma well! He got me a card and a new ring from James Avery that I wanted. He also slept allll day (then in turn, stayed up all night. But that's ok!) Derek was also super dad and was taking care of gavin as much as possible throughout the day.
We spent the majority of our day at my parents' house. It is extremely difficult to get all 6 of us & our families together, so we took advantage & took a family photo. It's been years since we've done this!
Then, we ended up going to Derek's Granny & Pa's at night & he and I brought dinner. We made lasagna & just enjoyed the night with his whole family. I couldn't take pics with his family though b/c I was busy in the kitchen.
I feel so completely blessed to be able to celebrate Mother's Day for the first time. I remember thinking I would never be able to. I have the best family & thank God for them every day!

What a sweet, sweet day for you guys! Love the family picture! Pretty ring too! David just gave me a heart necklace from JA for our anniversary. Somehow I've ended up with 4 heart necklaces from there! lol Love the place!
