I've been so busy since my appt. last Wednesday that I haven't had time to blog or anything. I had a lot of catching up to do!
Derek and I went shopping after out appt. Wednesday (which went well) and got all the big stuff that we needed in order to complete the nursery. We already had the crib but we needed the dresser, glider chair, stroller & playard. Thursday, the Richardson's came over to help put the big stuff together w/us. We had so much to put together so obviously it didn't get done in one night. But, they got the hard stuff done while I visited w/Parker!
Friday, we went to dinner w/them & it was super great! I hadn't been to this particular restaurant in years (The Elite) & was pleasantly surprised.
Saturday, Derek and I woke up super early & got started on the nursery. We put the crib up w/all the bedding. The dresser in it's place, painted the full size bed we have in there & put it in it's place. Got the swing put together, installed a new ceiling fan/light fixture. Washed ALL of Gavin's clothes and blankets. Made room in cabinets for bottles. Made room in the bathroom for all his bathing stuff. I think that's it, but we ended up not finishing everything till midnight. Then we crashed!
I still have several things to get for the nursery in order to organize it, so nothing is put up in drawers yet. But it's really come along. I'll post pics as soon as I'm done.
Sunday was when I was going to go shopping for everything I needed while Derek worked all day, but my dog ran away, so I waited ALLLL day for her to come back home. Very sad day. BUT, she's back. She just had a day full of running around town I guess.
Random pics that I've been meaning to post:
My nephew Connor being happy as always.
My nephew Carson being "cool" posing by the cat. lol.
My parents' cat Polly. Apparently she lays where she wants.
Good pic of the favors from my shower.

It's so fun getting everything together. It also makes it very real. =)
That's awesome you got so much done!!! And, thank goodness your dog came home - I would be a wreck if one of ours ran away!
