I went into my Dr. appt yesterday, only to wait for an hour for them to tell me that my DR. had to leave for an emergency C-section. I could have seen a nurse practitioner but opted against it & rescheduled for this morning. I did however make all my errands & managed to find a super cheap gown/robe set at Marshall's for the hospital along w/some houseshoes.
Plus a new purse since I've been looking forever!
Anways, This was the appt that checked Strep B (wasn't as bad as I thought at all!) & blood for HIV (state law) & my cervix. I'm surprisingly now measuring exactly on-time instead of ahead-which was a total shocker to me since I'm so big. I gained a few pounds in the last 2 weeks, but am retaining water, so I have to cut back on salt & carbs. There goes my sweet fixes I've had cravings for. Booo.
He measured Gavin at 6 1/2 lbs right now & I still have a few more weeks to go!! My dr. is estimating a 7 1/2 or more lb baby. Which means I'll def. be giving birth instead of a c-section & that completely terrifies me to death!! He also is up for scheduling induction due to our schedule & Derek working out of state this month. I can only go as early at the 14th, but Derek & I would like the 16th. We have a week to decide, so hopefully my next appt on the 31st, we'll have a date set. I also got a prescription for my sinus infection, hopefully this crud will go away & I won't be so miserable! All in all- Everything else is looking great!

That's awesome that your dr is willing to let you schedule a date. Takes the quesswork out of things for sure!
So exciting picking a date! I used to freak out towards the end when I'd buy groceries & the expiration date was after Rylie was due & I'd be like "wow, I'll be a mom by that point." lol crazy!
