OK, so all bets are starting to fly! People are predicting when I'm having this little munchkin! I just found out that my mom carried all 4 of us kids two weeks after her due date. And Derek informed me last night that his mom carried him a week past! Oh Em Gee!! This was NOT what I have been preparing myself for at all! All this time, since I've measured ahead, I've assumed that I'll deliver like a week or two early, but now...not so much.
On the other hand, I had a scare last night. I started having my Braxton Hicks about every 1 1/2 hrs before bed. Woke up at 2 and was having them BAD! Actually getting them pretty frequent and they were very painful. I honestly thought I was going into labor but I waited it out for about an hour I guess (b/c I'm crazy) and just decided to try to go to bed. I'm not gonna lie, they hurt like hell. I still am having them but not as frequent. Usually the reasons for them are said to be position (which I changed up) or dehydration (which I'm not b/c I drink a ton of water). So I'm not sure what the deal is. I guess I'll find out next week on my first weekly checkup. OH, speaking of that checkup, I'm getting my group B strep test done and Babycenter.com just said that the procedure they do in order to check it is by doing a vaginal AND rectal culture. UMMM. How come no one has informed me of this? Thanks. I can't wait.

Oh wow - um, yeah, let us know if they really do that!!!
Oh girl that baby boy is going to be here before you know it!!!
Hey Rosie...I've been meaning to get over here and visit you for a while now!
Okay...where do I start? Totally feel you on the Braxton Hicks contractions! That's how my day's been today! Not a fun feeling for sure! Know what you mean about feeling frustrated about not knowing when baby will arrive. Truth is, they say that most first time pregnancies take you over your due date. That was true for me with Alyssa. I went two weeks over with her and with Audrey I was two weeks early! Hoping that this little girl will be early too!
About the Group B strep test, not fun either, I know! Not looking forward to that one either!
Hope you have a good day today and I'll be sure to check in on you again soon!
OMG girl!!! I would like to make bets that he comes before your due date, but thats only because I want him to--I have no experiences or good info to help you out :( I am SO excited that you are getting closer, but I hate to hear you are in so much pain!
Love ya lots!!!
