That's what I told my husband last night when he brought up that he wanted 4 kids. He must be Crazy if he thinks we're having that many.
Actually, he is crazy b/c he always says it. I always hope he is just saying that to get a reaction out of me. Because this girl is NOT popping out 4 kids! Sorry!
Don't get me wrong...I love that I'm pregnant now. I'm lucky to be able to have one as it is. I cannot wait to be a mother either. But, I came from a family of 6 (4 kids) and from experience in my family, the more kids-the more dysfunctional. We are all two years apart and still to this day have issues sometimes. Nothing like before, but every once in a while, it's something. We were always at each other's throats growing up & there was always drama. Too many kids under one roof I guess. My parents did an amazing job raising us though b/c we all turned out to be great people, but I could NOT imagine going through 25 years of raising 4 kids all 2 yrs apart. I just can't.
Also, we couldn't afford it I'm sure. When we were little, my mom went back to nursing school full time & held a job all while raising us with only one being in school. Yikes! And my poor dad always had two jobs then too. I do not know how they did it. Not to mention, they started a lot younger. We're just now having our first & I'm 26.
Anyways, how many kids do you want to have? I told Derek I'm good with two, but if it's 3 I'm blessed with, then that's ok too. We'll see.
As far as those of you who have lots of babies, more power to ya! You're a stronger person that me apparently!

My husband and I both say 1 kid for now, whenever now is. LOL But, after we have one, we'll see.
Honestly, I love the thought of 4 kids, because I came from a family of 6 as well. I'm the oldest and the youngest is 10 years younger than me. I'm 28, my brother is 23, my other brother is 21, and my sister is 18. We don't really fight and we pretty much get along pretty well.
We want 4 :) But, as you know, I come from 12 kids, so 4 doesn't look too bad to me! Daniel wants them a bit closer together than I do, but we'll see. And, of course, God has some say in it, too :) We have always said - bottom line - we will have as many as we can afford...And, I have to toss in the simple fact that I haven't gone through L&D with 1 yet, so that may change things! We do know that we don't want just 1...But, the rest is yet to be written...So, we'll see!
I used to want 3...always said if I had a boy and a girl I would most likely stop if that happened after only 2....but know that we have gone through this journey we will be extremely blessed with just one (or 6 all at once, haha)....God has it all wrote out for us :)
Can't wait to see you tomorrow! Love ya!
Well I only wanted 1 when I found out Rylie was a girl. All I wanted was a girl & I had her. But she's been SO MUCH fun that now I want another-either boy or girl I dont care. If we have another girl, I kinda want a 3rd to try for a boy, but if we have a boy next I think I'll be done. I'd love to have a boy & then a girl to have 3 total but I'd be to afraid of having 2 boys! haha
