Silly pointless story I thought I would share with you...
As a big 'ol preggie, I'm feeling everything BUT sexy. The hubbs has been home working locally & let me just say....I'm not feeling "sexy." Get my gist here?
Anyways, here he is looking fine for me, not coming home all nasty and stinky & actually smelling good and free of sweat & here I am big...hairy...crabby...etc.
So I decide since he was taking me on a date last night, the least I could do was to shave my legs so he didn't have to deal with my stubble in bed last night.
I've used Nair a total of 3 times before. Each time, I get a little bitty burn where I've left it on too long or rubbed it to hard. No biggie. Actually the first time, I used it for my "bikini area" even though is says NOT to- and scolded my skin.
Very. Painful.
Anyways, I've read that you should not, absolutely use topical skin lotions for hair removal if you have "sensitive skin & are pregnant."
Do you think I listened? Ummm...No!
So I shower & use the nair yesterday. I'm feeling the burn at the movies all night.
Get home to change into my semi pretty jammies, & BAM! Pure shock! My legs were blistered & rashed & God knows what in the world is going on. I was in so much pain.
Obviously I blamed it on my husband b/c I was trying to clean up for him :(
Poor guy.
Needless to say, Who Wears short-shorts? Not Rosie! (not to mention it's freezing here) but not even for bed! Sorry Derek! Pajama pants it is....
On a side note, I did manage to sit through the entire 2 hr & 45 min of Avatar in 3D last night & I have to say, it was really good. Neither of us thought we would like it, but I think everyone should go see it if they can!
Hope everyone has a nice "leg-burn free" day!

I think you just gave me my first laugh of the day! I've used Nair before, but it never really works on me...I'll make sure to stay far away from it now, though! :)
P.S. I knew I forgot something on my 13 week post (Stupid Pregnancy Brain!), so I got your comment and went back and added my updates! :)
I used Nair to "shave" my legs with my 1st pregnancy (Nothing happened) Used it in the beginning of my 2nd pregnancy(nothing happened) it was towards the end of my 2nd pregnancy decided to needed to clean up all aeras with hair decided to would use nair on my legs again bc I had used it through out my pregnancy already. Yup, burned my legs blisters and all. My OB sent me to the ER just to make sure everything was on with my legs.
OMG!!!!!!!!!! I can't help but laugh!!!
I want to see blind side SO bad!
Oh and thanks for the reward I plan on doing it...promise :)It will give me something to blog about since I've been lacking in that dept.
