Life is good today.......

I had the most productive weekend I have ever had in a long time this weekend! I'm definately paying for it today, but in a good way. Friday, I went grocery shopping 30 min away. It's always a trip to go to the grocery store b/c my "booming" town doesn't have one. And I'm not going to the ghetto one 10 min away. I saw my OB/GYN there and he was proud at all the healthy food in my basket, although all he had was junk food. Ironic huh? Then I went home and mowed my massive yard. Don't worry, we have a riding lawn mower. I wanted to surprise the hubby b/c he had tons to do this weekend including mowing. It took forever...

Sat, we got up & got ready for our day of errands and honey-do's. I was on a mission to find a brown jacket b/c I've been looking forever! Success! Got a leather one from Dillards. It's a biker jacket but nothing fancy. Then had to find some shoes to wear in my bestie's wedding Sat. Check! Then D & I decided to go visit our godson Parker & his parents & enjoy the best brisket I've ever had that Cody made!

Then my hubby had the best idea EVER! He said "Let's paint the bedroom this weekend!"

Let me just tell you: I've done every bit of painting in the house. Our bedroom has been on the backburner b/c we have very heavy furniture and vaulted ceilings so I def. needed his help. D HATES to paint!!! So, we went to Home Depot & got all the goodies & were on our way! (I got the non-toxic "Fresh Air" kind of paint) We ended up not getting to the painting part until 8 pm and painted till about 12 ish. Then I got up Sunday at 6 and finished it all up. I'm the edge and trim painter in the family. That part took forever too!!! I finally finished, did some stuff around the house, cooked dinner for my hubs and his coworker and somehow managed to keep my eyes open in order to watch my Cowboys beat the Eagles! Woo Hoo!

Oh, did I mention our air conditioner decided to stop working last night? Good thing it's not hot outside! So, I have to get that taken care of. Oh, And I'm so sore I can barely move! I feel like I worked out all weekend! BUT, Life is Good Today! I'm happy, healthy, got a finished bedroom(which I'll take pics of) and I think I may have felt the baby move this morning!
