This is one of my random posts...
D & I went to lunch in the town next to where I work & at the stop light we thought we were coming up on a parade on the HWY. There were a whole bunch of motorcyclists driving w/flags & people standing on the side of the road with flags. Then we saw a hearse & following it were many, MANY cars carrying military. I quickly realized it was a fallen soldiers funeral. All of the flags were lowered to half-mass as well. It was really neat to see that. I believe it was a soldier from Amarillo that had been shot in Baghdad from another soldier in a shooting rage. At least that's what the news said. Either way, I felt proud to be there at that moment even though it was a sad one.
Then, we get to the BBQ restaurant where it was Seniors Day. I'm wearing these althetic type pants from Abercrombie & it says Abercrombie & Fitch on the butt. I'm also wearing a white shirt that covers most of the letters too. I'm not wearing those sweats that say Diva or Hottie or anything... Just some Adidas style pants sort of like the pic below.
This old man yells at me to come here & he is smiling so I feel safe. Next thing I know he and 10 other elderly men ask me to "turn around and lift up my shirt b/c they want to see what my butt says!!!" O. M. G.!! I was so embarassed. They were just so amused and entertained by my pants b/c they said something on the ass. Ha Ha! Old people do the darndest things huh?
