This week will be SOOO much better than the last two I hope! It already started off that way so I'm praying it stays good. This weekend, my hubbs & I had some friends over for BBQ & hanging out. We kinda made it a "couples" night. We played horse shoes and watched stand up comedy on HBO. Then a couple more of my girls came out, so the girls just sat outside and chatted. Tiffany & Zach stayed the longest b/c she and I had sooo much to talk about. When we were in H.S. we had a notebook where we wrote notes back and forth to each other, and I still had it so it was so fun to look at it and laugh at ourselves! Sunday, we took the boat out to the lake and to our surprise, it would not start :( So we went shopping for our trip. We're leaving Wednesday to go to Colorado for his cousin's wedding. Anyways, it was a pretty nice relaxing weekend that was wayyy needed!
On to important news!! Derek & I went to consult w/a new dr. this morning. He's helping out Tiff and he seems to really know what he was talking about when it came to fertility. We felt so confident that he could help us. He was shocked that a)I've been on Clomid so long without a break & b) that I was on ANYTHING without even having an HSG! So I'm going to finish out my cycle (I'm on CD 13) and we're still getting the progesterone test. But if I'm not pregnant, we're taking a two month break. No meds, not timing...nothing. He even said "you're young. So many people your age get pregnant when out and having fun. Don't be afraid to go out, have some drinks & just have fun with it. It can't hurt at this point." So naturally my husband was VERY pleased to hear that! He was even happy for me to be off of Clomid. Let me tell you-I'm driving him crazy with these mood swings! ha ha! But all in all, we are very very happy about this. He can do a lot more for us than my last dr could w/out giving up and sending us to an RE so soon. Wish us luck!

I don't know how I missed that you and Tiffany went to High School together. Boy I feel dumb!
That's awesome you guys were able to spend some time with your friends and just hang out. That is so funny about your notebook. I had one like that with my boyfriend in HS. He took it to one class, me to the next. Much better to have one with a friend, rather than a first love. Haha!
Bummer the boat would not start. A day on the lake sounds wonderful right about now.
Colorado is only a few days away. Are you guys driving or flying?
I am so excited for you sweetie!!! I know you will love Dr. M!!! He is so great and he will do everything in his ability to get ya'll pregnant as well as answer any questions ya'll might have...don't ever hessitate to call V the nurse and ask her anything, she is really sweet too!!! Love ya sweetie..."cheers to your next chapter in your book :)"
You don't need luck, because I know it will happen, and like he said, have fun with it :) :) :) haha!!!
